CASE STUDIES
To help it deliver thousands of videos from Euro2012 tournament to
broadcasters around the world, UEFA integrated Aspera into its
LIVEX On Demand service for content contribution, publishing and
distribution.
Challenge:
- Transferring HD video clips from media center to International
Broadcasting Center for processing and on to broadcast partners
around the world.
- Reliable and Flexible workflow coordination and automation at
IBC.
Solution: Aspera On Demand, Aspera P2P client, Aspera
Orchestrator workflow platform and Aspera Console
Benefit: During the month-long event, LIVEX On-Demand delivered
over 3,000 near-live in-match and post-match video clips,
amounting to nearly 27 terabytes of full HD content, to official
partners around the world for broadcast to their subscribers.
